{87/366 - eating galbi}
{88/366 - going for a bike ride}
 {89/366 - food prep}
These are pictures from March 31st to April 14th. I really should be on top of posting a picture a day but I always forget to transfer my pictures from my phone or my SD card on a daily basis. I've missed a few days but I've been doing much better than I thought I would.
As you can see a lot of food is involved. This summer I'll be cooking a lot more as we've discovered it's a lot cheaper and it's so fun when you're doing it with your friends.

April is basically halfway done.. Let's finish strong!

post-easter chocolate || my life

Easter is great for so many different reasons. The post-easter chocolate sales are one of them. My sister is in the midst of studying for her finals and she needed a break so we went to the grocery store to stock up on some chocolate. Some of it was pretty cheap like the mini-eggs and some if it was just straight up ridiculous. I think the rabbit one freaked me out the most! I didn't like looking at the bunny in the cage. I don't think we're supposed to eat the easter bunny, just the eggs it gives to us!

I like chocolate but I think I'm more of a candy fan. So I can't wait for the post-Halloween candy sales! I only enjoy the Ferrero Rocher chocolate. My mouth gets really sensitive and it's not a pleasant experience when it comes to eating chocolate.

National Grilled Cheese Day || food

Today is National Grilled Cheese Day! I'm not quite sure what these national days mean and how they come about, but I'm ok with it. Right now I'm eating a peanut butter grilled cheese sandwich. (I burnt it a bit as you can see) I decided to experiment and it's actually pretty good. Turns out I'm not the only one as I did a google search on this mix.

I grew up on grilled cheese sandwiches. My mom would always put a bit of brown sugar on the outside after it was grilled. It sounds so weird but it was SO good.

How do you like your grilled cheese sandwich?

year of the dragon || Project 366

{22/366 - Rice Cake Soup}

This is 떡국 which is known as rice cake soup in English. I went to my uncle's house to celebrate the Lunar New Year. This is traditionally eaten on New Year's day or on Lunar New Year's Day. Growing up it was one of my favorite Korean soups to eat. They say you get one year older if you eat it.

 After I left my aunt and uncle's house I got on the bus to meet a friend. These two cute boys came on the bus and sat right behind me. The one on the right kept kicking my seat. That gave me an excuse to turn around, smile at him and ask their grandfather if I could take a picture. The grandfather was happy that I asked. He kept saying, "You know they're twins". You could tell he was a proud grandfather. Why wouldn't you be if you these two cuties as grandsons?

Typical Korean BBQ with garlic, mushrooms and kimchi grilling. So good after an evening of travelling on a bus. Korean BBQ tastes the best in Korea.

Only in Korea || Project 366

{14/366 - Only in Korea}

My friend David and I were about to get some coffee when we heard this old man yelling in Korean "Somebody stop me! Help!" We turned and saw this man on a motorcycle with heavy boxes rolling backwards toward us. He asked a man next to us to help him get up the hill, so David kindly helped as well. It was pretty entertaining to watch.

Good food and Good Friends || Project 366

{10/366 - Homemade Meal}

{Good talks}

Living in Seoul it's rare to find a good home cooked meal that isn't from your grandma or aunt. This was an awesome night with a mix of friends cooking, laughing and talking about BB guns and what to do with a rapist. I'm really thankful for these special nights. They're rarity here.

The Beginning of 2012 || Project 366

I've decided to partake in the 366 Project (which was inspired by Gregarious Peach). My focus will be on the things I enjoy on a daily basis wherever I am.
I have this terrible habit of starting projects or having many different goals, but nothing ever gets accomplished. Project 366 is something I want to commit to. I'm learning that if you want to be successful in something, you have to commit. If you don't care for something to improve, grow or become better you'll give up on it.

I've always loved photography. I've always loved sharing my photography, so Project 366 is perfect.
So here's to my attempt at starting and completing one of my many new year's resolutions!

{1/366 - Scarf}
A wool scarf is absolutely necessary in the ice cold weather in Seoul.

{Project 366. 1/366 - Falafel in Seoul}
This falafel is amazing. This is at Petra's Palace in Itaewon near Noksapyeong Station (Line 6). One of my favorite places to eat at in Itaewon.
